Acceptable Use Policy & Community Guidelines
Effective date: 2026-05-28 Version: 1
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the content you create, upload, and share with Voclip — including audio recordings, generated videos, avatars, display names, and the social-media usernames you add. It is part of our Terms of Service. By using Voclip you agree to follow it.
1. You are responsible for your content
You must have all rights necessary to record, upload, generate, and share your content, and your content must not infringe anyone else's rights (see the Content & Intellectual Property Policy).
2. Prohibited content and conduct
Do not use Voclip to create, upload, share, or publish content that:
- is unlawful, or facilitates illegal activity;
- infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights (including using someone's voice, name, image, or recordings without permission);
- is hateful, harassing, threatening, or promotes violence or discrimination;
- is sexually explicit, exploits or endangers minors, or is otherwise harmful to children;
- impersonates any person or entity, or misrepresents your affiliation (including misuse of the social-username overlay to impersonate others);
- is fraudulent, deceptive, scammy, or spam;
- contains malware, or attempts to compromise the Service or other users;
- harvests data, scrapes, or accesses the Service by automated means except as we expressly allow; or
- attempts to bypass plan limits, watermarking, security, or rate limits, or to reverse engineer the Service except where the law permits.
3. Sharing and third-party platforms
When you download, share, or publish a video to a third-party platform, you are also bound by that platform's rules. You are responsible for ensuring your content complies wherever you distribute it.
4. Enforcement
We may, at our discretion and to the extent permitted by law: remove or disable access to content; refuse, limit, or stop processing a video; issue warnings; and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP or applicable law. We may also take action to comply with legal requests or to protect users, the public, or the Service. Where appropriate and lawful, we will aim to notify you and, for copyright matters, follow the process in the Content & Intellectual Property Policy.
5. Reporting
To report content or conduct that violates this AUP, contact support@voclip.app with enough detail for us to locate and review it.
6. Changes
We may update this AUP; the effective date and version above will change when we do, and material changes may require re-acceptance.
